As stated on the company website, Creative Builders, Inc. (CBI) builds more than quality
buildings. Since 1971, they’ve been building a stellar reputation for value and service, along
with the careers of dedicated people who share their core values. In honor of Women’s History
Month, they’re spotlighting six remarkable women with a history of excellence and consistent
promotion.
Five of the six started at the front desk and are now out front in leadership roles with their respective departments. Current Front Desk Administrative Assistant Brianna Fowler is a rising
star who has become a vital source of support to the whole team — in the office and on jobsites
— and Claudia Figueroa is now an assistant controller supporting the accounting department.
Taylor Limbach started with CBI last May and has quickly advanced to a project coordinator
position in the Multifamily Division while Elsie Bickmann continues to shine as a project coordinator
in the Upfit and Commercial Division. Kayla Parker is a leader of the project coordinators
in the Multifamily Construction Division, working closely with clients, subs, project
managers and superintendents and training co-workers who are following her career path.
One of the first females to make her mark, Amy Johnstone started at the front desk in 2003.
With six years of experience in the construction industry, her background and drive got her
in the door. She advanced to project coordinator and then to assistant project manager before
assuming the position she’s held for the last four years, project manager in the Upfit and Commercial
Division. When she moved to Greenville, she was concerned about being seen as “only
an assistant,” but she found opportunities to be seen as the talented, industrious professional she
is and to be repeatedly recognized in a workplace that’s a bit more “Creative". "I was fortunate to find my home with Creative Builders. It is exciting to see female co-workers continue to develop in this industry as well. CBI provides mentorship, networking and opportunities for growth, and I am proud to be a part of this great team", stated Amy G. Johnstone.
