GREENVILLE - Creative Builders joined forces with other local General Contractors to raise heart health awareness in this year's first-ever Upstate Hard Hats for Hearts event benefiting the American Heart Association.

Many general contractors and subcontractors gathered together in a friendly clay shooting competition at the River Bend Sportsmans Warehouse in Inman, had fellowship over lunch, and raised awareness on heart issues and safety in the construction industry.

"We felt it was important to partner in this initiative and educate ourselves and others on the importance of heart disease and preventative measures to help keep us safe so we can all go home to our families every day. It was an honor, and we look forward to supporting this great cause again next year."
